Lord I submit my faculty
to sense, to hear, to see
to feel and to smell
Purify me with your holy truth.
I hear gossips and grumbling
I hear criticisms and half truths
I sense injustice and untruth
I see evil people around.
Help me not to jump into prejudices
Help me not to enter into misjudgments
Help me not to be deceived by power,
wealth and worldly ideals.
May I see everything around me objectively
May I speak the truth and be convinced by it
May I have the courage to oppose falsehood
May I be filled with your Spirit
So that your Word, your Grace can
transform all my perceptions
and purify my vision and thinking. Amen.
