Young communicators complete their training at the Vatican

"Faith Communication in the Digital World" is the name of the training project offered by the Dicastery for Communication to a group of 16 young people from all over the world who work for the Church.

After many e-mails, phone calls, and numerous weekly video-conference meetings through the Zoom platform, a face-to-face meeting was finally possible in these days: from 7 to 13 June, the 16 young people met in Rome for their first week of intensive training, focusing on self-knowledge, creativity, and the transmission of faith through digital media.

The final objective of this pilot project is to develop "good practices" that will enable young communicators to better respond to the challenges of their mission, carried out within Catholic organisations and institutions, congregations, etc...

Among the participants is Marybel Mayorga, a communications expert from the diocese of Montreal (Canada). Here is the story of her experience in an interview with Vatican Newshttps://bit.ly/3pPFnrT
