Turin International Book Fair, Friday 15 May (3:00 PM, Violet Hall): the Prefect of the Dicastery for Culture and Education, Cardinal José Tolentino Mendonça, will engage in a dialogue on the themes of his new book Cultivating Inner Life with psychoanalyst Vittorio Lingiardi, in a meeting entitled “Will Wonder Save the World?”; moderated by Giulia Galeotti, head of the cultural pages of L’Osservatore Romano.

It will be a wide-ranging discussion between the Vatican’s head of culture, a poet and writer, and one of the most insightful intellectuals in Italy today. Together they will address the question of whether, in the age of artificial intelligence—when future scenarios appear increasingly dark—the alliance between faith and culture can generate new spaces for what is human.
