New call for applications to the Cardinal Foley Scholarship Fund for 2024/2025

The deadline to submit your application is March 8th 2024.

The Cardinal Foley Scholarship Fund (CFSF) supports education and living expenses of students from the Global South in Master and Postgraduate programmes in communication.

The aim is to broaden the base of qualified priests, religious and lay people with competence to further develop the communication ministry of local churches. It also intends to qualify Africans and Asians for provision of proper formation for future Church communicators in local training institutes, communication (and theology) faculties and major seminaries.

The fund is named after Cardinal John Patrick Foley, former president of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, honouring his enduring commitment to building the Church's competence in her communication involvement.

The screening committee that awards the scholar-ships is currently composed of representatives of the Dicastery for Communication, missio Aachen, the Institute of Missiology, and the Catholic Communication Campaign of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
