Naakow Grant-Hayford graduated in Political Science from the Philipps-University of Marburg/Germany and in African Studies from the University of Basel. He is a Peace building Consultant for TRANSCEND-International's program on Africa and trains Conflict Transformation Specialists for the Galtung-Institut for Peace Theory and Peace Practice. He co-founded the Galtung-Institut for Peace Theory and Peace Practice together with Prof. Johan Galtung in 2011 and is currently, the academic director of the Galtung-Institut.
