Ana Cristina Montoya Montoya is a Colombian journalist, currently a professor at Sophia University Institute, at Loppiano, Florence. She has a vast experience in the planning and execution of different projects in the field of social change and development, and also in formal and non-formal education. She has also coordinated a number of workshops, seminars for young people and adults on the theme of active and participative citizenship. She has also been the coordinator of the Città Fratena Foundation, where she was involved in the planning and execution of a number of projects. Ana Cristina was the director of the monthly magazine, “Ciudad Nueva” in Colombia from 2011 to 2013. She has her doctorate in communication, from the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome. She has also played an important role in various associations and organizations, leading and guiding the groups in various capacities.
